On Thursday April 4, as part of National Public Health week, a week designated annually to highlight public health programs and services, Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr. and Director of Health Phyllis D. Ellis, BSN, MS, F.A.C.H.E., along with City of Sherrill representatives, announced that sunscreen dispensers are being placed in parks and other areas in Sherrill. The initiative is part of a pilot program through Oneida County and funded through a Cancer Prevention in Action Grant.
