The City Manager reports to the City Commission and performs fiscal and administrative duties related to City operations including supervision of department heads (ie Public Works, Water & Waste Water Treatment, Recreation, Police and Power & Light), implementing City policies, interacting with the public and elected officials, and assisting the City Comptroller in budget preparation and control. The Comptroller/City Clerk, Michael D. Holmes, oversees the activity in City Hall. The City Clerk is responsible for the minutes of the City Commission meetings, issuance of all licenses including dog and marriage. The Comptroller is responsible for the computer system and accounting records for all the city funds. Please call City Hall or email [email protected].
Full-Time Office Staff
The office staff handles purchasing, utility billing and receipting of city monies. The office also issues various licenses, collects taxes as well as acts as an information center for residents and visitors.
