The Sherrill Police Department would like to inform residents that there have been some thefts from unlocked vehicles recently. Please remember to lock your vehicles and to remove any items of value from them to make your vehicle less of a target. Secondly, if any residents have a video surveillance system that captures the roadway, sidewalk or driveway at your property, the Sherrill Police Department asks that you review your footage and kindly consider sharing any footage from over the past weekend with us. Any information provided will be kept confidential. Lastly, please report any suspicious vehicles, persons or conditions to the police right away – we can be reached at 363-3200 or 911 in an emergency.
