City Assessor Correction to Newsletter Information

Please note the following the correction from the City Assessor:

The January newsletter had the following statement which is incorrect:

For Enhanced STAR the required age is 65 regardless of when you turn 65 during 2015 and 2014 income.

The correct statement is as follows:

For Enhanced STAR the required age is 65 regardless of when you turn 65 during 2016 and 2014 income.

For the Enhanced STAR Exemption ONLY the individual is considered 65 on January 1^st of the year they will be 65.
