CITY MANAGER

The City of Sherrill, NY is accepting resumes for the position of City Manager, reporting directly to the City Commission.  The position is responsible for 25+ employees and a current budget of $6.3 million.  This position entails performance of fiscal and administrative duties in managing City operations.  Candidates must possess proven managerial, interpersonal and leadership skills to direct an experienced staff serving a full-service community.  General duties include supervision of department heads (ie Public Works, Water & Waste Water Treatment, Recreation, Police and Power & Light), implementing City policies, interacting with the public and elected officials, and assisting the City Comptroller in budget preparation and control.  Minimum 5 years management experience, government and/or civil engineering experience a plus.  Residency requirement.  Competitive salary and benefit package.  Deadline is February 24, 2017.  Send resume, salary requirements and references to:
