Community Generous to Sherrill Kenwood Library
The Sherrill Kenwood Library held its first “Spring for Books” fundraiser event on May 12, 2016. Our goal for the event was to add 100 new books to our collection. With the generous support of many we were able to triple our goal.
The Sherrill Kenwood Library Board of Trustees and staff would like to thank the following local merchants and organizations for their support: a special thank you to Don Cornue of Sign & Art Etc. for creating our logo, Access Federal Credit Union, Accessibility Solutions, Briggs & Stratton – Ferris Industries, Costello Eye Physicians & Surgeons, Evans Insurance Agency, Jimmy D’s The Cutting Edge, The “Kay Team” of Kay Real Estate, Kenwood Community Properties, KEYS Music Program, M.E.I.D. Construction Inc., Mac Copy LLC, Malecki Funeral Home, Marble Hill Inn, PR Small Engine Repair, Progress Club of Oneida, Sherrill Chiropractic Center, The Cremeria Gelato Cart and the White Begonia.
We also wish to express our gratitude for our many loyal patrons who are too numerous to mention here for their generous support. Without you patronage and support we would cease to exist. For me and the staff it is truly a pleasure to serve you.
We are a small library who strives very hard to operate in the most efficient manner we can. To be supported by so many caring people with big hearts does make our work so rewarding and much easier.
Because of our success we have planned a “Spring for Books May 2017.”
